Botanical gardens were established under semi-arid conditions on latitude 31.15 oN and longitude 72.22 oE in Jhang.  This is the first garden of its kind set up in the sugar industry and the project is aimed at developing conservation and research facilities for scholars. The gardens are home to flora of 381 species mainly trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, cactus and gymnosperms. Aromatic and medicinal plantation has been done on separate 30,400 sq. ft of land.
